Eid is celebrated in countries including Saudi Arabia
Today observes the holy Eid-ul-Adha in Middle East countries including Saudi Arabia. On Sunday (June 16) the main rituals of Hajj ended with threw stone on Satan. And then Muslims around the world started celebrating Eid-ul-Adha through animal sacrifice. Saudi Arabia's news media Arab News reported this.
Eid-ul-Adha is celebrated not only in Saudi Arabia but also in the Middle East, Asia, Europe, Africa and America. On this day, Eid congregation was held in mosques in different parts of Saudi Arabia, including Masjid al-Haram in Mecca, Masjid al-Nabawi in Madinah. Millions of devout Muslims offer prayers in it. Later, the worshipers celebrated Eid-ul-Adha by sacrificing animals in hopes of gaining nearness to Allah.
However, due to not being able to see the moon on the same day as Saudi Arabia, their neighboring countries, like United Arab Emirates and Oman, will celebrate Eid tomorrow, Monday (June 17). In addition, neighboring India, Bangladesh and Pakistan, East Asia's Brunei, Malaysia, Indonesia will also celebrate the holy Eid-ul-Adha tomorrow. Iran, Morocco and Ghana will celebrate Eid on the same day.
However, due to the delay in seeing the Zilhaj moon, Eid will be held in New Zealand on Tuesday, June 18.
