US President Donald Trump spoke with Fox News about the Israeli forces' attack in Iran.
Trump stated that he was aware of Israel's plan in advance. However, he made it clear that the US military played no role in this operation.
Furthermore, the US President reiterated his hope that Iran would continue discussions with the United States to control its nuclear program.
"Iran cannot have a nuclear bomb, and we hope to return to the negotiating table," he told Fox News.
Trump also added, "There are many individuals in leadership (in Iran) who will not be returning." America confirmed that multiple Iranian leaders were killed in the (Israeli) attack.
Earlier, US Secretary of State Marco Rubio called Israel's attack against Iran a "unilateral action." He claimed that Washington was not involved in the incident. At the same time, he urged Tehran not to target US interests or personnel in the region.
