Bangladesh on Thursday declared as joint winners of the SAFF Women's Under-19 Football Championships with India. The historic decision has come after a series of dramatic events between the two teams.

On Thursday (February 8), Kamlapur's Bir Sreshtho Shahid Sipahi Mostafa Kamal Stadium drew 1-1 at the scheduled time and the match was tied at tiebreaker. Where both teams showed skill and scored 22 goals to equalize the match. Later, Bangladesh objected when India was declared champion by toss.
After more than one hour, the match commissioner, made a major decision to declare both Bangladesh and India as joint winners of the championship.
