Bangladeshi cricketer got a place in the best XI

After a long month of struggle, the curtain to open on the ninth edition of the T20 World Cup. India will face South Africa in the title-deciding final.

The match will start at 8:30 pm Bangladesh time on Saturday (June 29) in Bridgetown, Barbados.

The world cricket governing body-ICC may announce the best XI of the World Cup after the title celebration. However, before the final, Cricket Australia announced the best XI of the world stage in their own eyes. Bangladeshi spinner Rishad Hossain has also made a place in this eleven. He performed brilliantly with the ball in his first international match.

No cricketer from India or South Africa, the two finalists, was captained in Cricket Australia's Best XI. Afghanistan's Rashid Khan has been made the captain of this XI. His perfect plan to reach Afghans in the last four of the World Cup for the first time.

Three players from India, two from Australia and Afghanistan and one each from West Indies, South Africa, Bangladesh and the United States have made it to the top XI.

Travis Head and Rohit Sharma got places as openers in the best XI. Head scored 225 runs in 7 matches even though Australia retired from Super Eight. Indian captain Rohit is also in good form with the bat. This opener scored 248 runs with the bat in 7 matches.

West Indies' Nicholas Pooran also found a place in the top-order. Next are Aaron Jones of USA, Marcus Stoinis of Australia and Hardik Pandya of India.

Rishad Hossain is in the spin quota with Afghanistan's Rashid Khan. Rishad, who has performed brilliantly in this World Cup, took 14 wickets in 7 matches with 25 overs, which is the highest wicket record among Bangladeshis in a World Cup.

India's Jasprit Bumrah and Afghanistan's Fazalhaq Farooqi are in the pace unit along with South Africa's Anrich Nortje.
