The team members are Nahid Hasan Al Amin and Solaiman Sagar, both currently studying at Tongmyong University in South Korea. They presented an ingenious app idea named 'Jabayo' in the competition.

Immigrant students often face challenges finding employment due to their weaker Korean language skills. Jabayo aims to resolve these linguistic complexities by helping users find jobs based on their language proficiency. The app will also play a supportive role for students by facilitating idea sharing, prize winning, and even assisting with internships and small entrepreneurial ventures.

Seven student teams from different countries made it to the finals of the competition, organized by Busan International College, where Bangla Nexus was crowned champion.

The university authorities stated that the blend of talent, innovative thinking, and self-confidence has further brightened Bangladesh's image on the international stage, while also being a source of pride for Busan International College.

Yeokyung Natalia, Head of the Culture & Design Department at Busan International College, commented, "During this innovation competition, I was truly impressed by the outstanding performance of the Bangladeshi community. In fact, all three winning teams were composed of Bangladeshi students — this is not just a personal achievement, but a source of pride for both the Bangladeshi community and Busan International College. I extend my heartfelt congratulations to the Bangladeshi students for this success."

Byeong Ik Jong, Dean of Busan International College, said, "Upon hearing that the Bangla Nexus Team won the first prize, I believe their performance was truly excellent. I hope they continue to perform well in the future and succeed in their careers. The participation of such talented students proves that it is possible to attract more brilliant students from Bangladesh who can come to Korea to gain education and experience Korean culture and lifestyle."

Bangladeshi students have a consistent record of success in various international competitions recently. Young Bangladeshis have shown remarkable presence in international competitions such as Artificial Intelligence, Blockchain, and Math Olympiads.
