RAB to Undergo Name and Uniform Changes

The Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) will undergo restructuring, including changes to its name and uniform, as confirmed by Home Affairs Advisor Lieutenant General (Retd.) Md. Jahangir Alam Chowdhury.

Indian Science and Technology Minister Jitendra Singh has said that after abrogation of Article 370 from Jammu and Kashmir in August 2019 there is a visible change in every field including completion of unfinished projects, implementation of centrally sponsored schemes, infrastructure development and security situation.

Foreign workers in Saudi Arabia are now able to switch jobs without their employers’ permission after the long-awaited labour reforms in the Gulf region’s most populous country went into effect. In November last year, the country’s ministry of human resources and social development announced plans to amend the Kafala system under which workers are tied to a single employer who alone can renew or terminate their residency and work status in the country.
