Strict restrictions on movement from July 1

The government has taken decision to enforce a seven-day countrywide strict restrictions since July 1, engaging the Armed Forces, BGB and Battalion Police aiming to check the coronavirus transmission. “There’ll be no movement pass . . . None can go outside rather they will have to stay indoors,” Cabinet Secretary Khandker Anwarul Islam briefed newsmen today (Monday) emerging from the weekly Cabinet meeting at the Secretariat.
‘Lockdown’ extended again

The government has decided to extend the tenure of ‘lockdown’ till May 30 considering the ongoing coronavirus situation in the country. Now inter-district bus services have been allowed to ply after abiding by the health safely guidelines. Besides, from now people have been allowed to take their foods sitting at the hotels and restaurants.
Ongoing lockdown to be extended till May 16

To prevent coronavirus infection in the country the tenure of ongoing strict restrictions has been increased till May 16. In this period the inter-district public transport service will remain stop but those will be allowed to ply within the district. The information was delivered by Cabinet Secretary Khandker Anwarul Islam at a press briefing after joining the cabinet meeting on Monday afternoon.
Lockdown may be extended

As the number of deaths due to coronavirus is increasing, so there is discussion about extending the complete lockdown for one more week. It is known that a meeting has been called to review the lockdown situation on Monday and further decision will be taken there.
