The Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) has predicted scattered precipitation across multiple regions of the country over the 24-hour period that began at 9 am on Saturday.

According to a weather bulletin issued this morning, "Light to moderate rain/thunder showers accompanied by temporary gusty wind are likely to occur at many places over Khulna, Barishal, Chattogram and Sylhet divisions and at a few places over Rangpur, Rajshahi, Dhaka and Mymensingh divisions".

The weather bureau added that isolated areas may experience moderately heavy downpours.

Temperatures across the country are expected to experience a minor upward trend during both day and night.

On Friday, Dimla recorded the nation's highest temperature at 35.7 degrees Celsius, while Narayanganj logged Saturday's lowest temperature at 23.2 degrees Celsius.

Over the 24 hours leading up to 6 am today, Satkhira registered the highest volume of rainfall in the country, measuring 109 millimeters. In the capital, sunset today is scheduled for 6:45 pm, with sunrise expected tomorrow at 5:25 am.
