The Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) predicted precipitation across various regions of the nation within the upcoming 24 hours starting from 9 am on Sunday.

"Light to moderate rain/thunder showers accompanied by temporary gusty wind is likely to occur at many places over Rangpur, Rajshahi, Mymensingh, Chattogram & Sylhet divisions and at few places over Dhaka, Khulna & Barishal divisions," stated a weather office bulletin released this morning.

In addition, the bulletin indicated that moderately heavy to heavy downpours could take place at spots throughout the country.

Both daytime and nighttime temperatures may experience a slight drop nationwide.

The peak temperature on Saturday reached 36.8 degrees Celsius in Saidpur, whereas the lowest temperature recorded on this day stood at 24.6 degrees Celsius in Teknaf.

Over the preceding 24 hours up to 6 am today, the maximum precipitation of 31 millimeters was measured in Teknaf.

Sunset in Dhaka is scheduled for 6:19 pm today, with sunrise expected at 5:40 am on Monday.
