The Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) on Monday predicted rainfall across various regions of the nation throughout the subsequent 24 hours beginning from 9 am.

Per a meteorological bulletin published during the morning, "Light to moderate rain/thunder showers accompanied by temporary gusty wind is likely to occur at many places over Rangpur, Khulna, Barishal, Chattogram & Sylhet divisions and at a few places over Rajshahi, Dhaka & Mymensingh divisions."

Additionally, the advisory noted that moderately heavy to heavy downpours could take place at separate locations throughout the country.

Both daytime and nocturnal temperatures might register a slight drop nationwide.

The peak temperature on Sunday touched 36.5 degrees Celsius in Rajarhat, whereas the lowest temperature recorded on this day stood at 23.8 degrees Celsius in Sylhet.

Over the preceding 24-hour window (lasting until 06 am on Monday), the maximum precipitation of 68 millimeters was registered in Teknaf.

The sun is scheduled to set at 6:18 pm today and emerge at 5:40 am on Tuesday within Dhaka.
