Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) has predicted light to moderate rain or thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty winds in multiple regions across the country over the 24-hour period starting from 9 am on Monday.

According to the official morning bulletin from the Met Office, widespread precipitation is expected at many places in Rangpur, Mymensingh and Sylhet divisions while a few locations in Rajshahi, Dhaka, Khulna, Barishal, and Chattogram divisions are likely to experience similar weather conditions.

The weather office further alerted that moderately heavy to heavy rainfall could strike isolated areas within Rangpur, Mymensingh, and Sylhet divisions during this timeframe.

Daytime and night temperatures are projected to stay virtually constant throughout the nation.

Rain Forecast across Multiple Divisions as Nationwide Temperatures Remain Stable

On Sunday, the country's peak temperature reached 35 degrees Celsius in Rangpur, whereas the lowest temperature recorded this morning dropped to 24.4 degrees Celsius, jointly logged in Sylhet and Bandarban.

In the 24 hours leading up to 6 am today, Kutubdia registered the nation's maximum rainfall total at 81 millimeters.

In the capital, sunset is scheduled for 6:41 pm today, with sunrise expected at 5:29 am on Tuesday.
