The Bangladesh Meteorological Department has predicted widespread precipitation across various parts of the country during the 24-hour period starting from 9 am on Tuesday.

According to a morning bulletin issued by the weather bureau, light to moderate rain or thundershowers featuring temporary gusty winds are expected at many locations throughout Rangpur, Mymensingh, Dhaka, Barishal, Chattogram, and Sylhet divisions, as well as at scattered places within Rajshahi and Khulna divisions.

The forecast added that localized areas across the nation could experience moderately heavy to heavy rainfall over the same timeframe.

Furthermore, meteorologists anticipate a slight decline in both day and night temperatures across Bangladesh.

On Monday, Jashore recorded the highest temperature in the country at 35.2 degrees Celsius, whereas Narayanganj registered today's lowest temperature at 23.2 degrees Celsius.

During the 24 hours leading up to 6 am on Tuesday, M.Court in the Chattogram division received the heaviest rainfall in the country, measuring 80 millimeters.

In Dhaka, sunset today will occur at 6:40 pm, with sunrise expected tomorrow (Wednesday) at 5:29 am.
