The Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) has projected rainfall across various regions of the country over the 24-hour period beginning at 9 am Sunday.

According to a weather bulletin issued by the forecasting agency the day's morning, "Light to moderate rain/thunder showers accompanied by temporary gusty wind is likely to occur at many places over Dhaka, Mymensingh, Khulna, Barishal, Chattogram & Sylhet divisions and at a few places over Rangpur & Rajshahi divisions."

The weather report further indicated that moderately heavy to heavy downpours could potentially affect isolated locations throughout the nation.

Additionally, daytime and night-time temperatures across the country are anticipated to decline by 1 to 2 degrees Celsius over the coming day.

Statistical data from the weather bureau revealed that Saturday's maximum temperature was recorded at 35.8 degrees Celsius in Sayedpur, whereas the lowest temperature recorded today stood at 24 degrees Celsius in Sandwip.

Over the 24-hour window leading up to 6 am on Sunday, Sandwip also registered the nation's highest rainfall measurement at 40 millimeters.

For the capital city of Dhaka, sunset on Sunday is scheduled for 6:31 pm, with sunrise on Monday expected at 5:34 am.
