The Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) has projected rainfall across various regions of the country over the next 24 hours, starting from 9 am on Saturday.

According to a weather bulletin issued by the Met office this morning, light to moderate rain or thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty winds are expected in many areas across the Rangpur, Mymensingh, Chattogram, and Sylhet divisions, as well as in a few places within the Rajshahi, Dhaka, Khulna and Barishal divisions.

The bulletin further noted that moderately heavy to heavy rainfall may occur in isolated areas throughout the country.

Rain Likely Across Country: Rangpur, Mymensingh and Sylhet Face Heavy Downpours

Both day and night temperatures are anticipated to decrease slightly across the nation.

On Friday, the country's highest temperature was recorded at 35.8 degrees Celsius in Bogura, whereas today's lowest temperature was registered at 25 degrees Celsius in Bandarban.

Over the 24-hour period ending at 6 am on Saturday, Bandarban recorded the highest rainfall in the country, measuring 12 millimeters.

In Dhaka, sunset today is scheduled for 6:26 pm, while sunrise tomorrow will be at 5:36 am.
