RAB operation in Arsa's hideout

The Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) is conducting a raid on Arsa's hideout at Lal Pahar, adjacent to the Rohingya camp in Ukhia, Cox's Bazar. So far, two members of the Myanmar terrorist group have been arrested and many weapons, grenades and rocket shells have been recovered from there.

The operation started on Wednesday (May 15) early morning.

The captain of RAB-15 confirmed this. Colonel HM Sajjad Hossain said that there have been incidents of shooting and killing some Rohingya head sailors in the camp. For this, RAB increased intelligence activities in Rohingya camps.

Following that, based on specific information, the location of Myanmar's terrorist organization Arsa's hideout was identified in Hill areas near Ukhiya camp.

The operation started on Tuesday (May 14) from 2 am and the entire Lal Pahar was surrounded. At one point the terrorists started firing after sensing the presence of RAB. RAB also fired back in response. The RAB captain said that the operation is still ongoing.
