President to offer Eid prayers at National Eidgah
The President along with his family members and related officials will offer Eid-ul-Azha prayers at 7:30 am at the National Eidgah.
On Saturday (June 15), the President's press secretary Md. Zainal Abedin revealed this information.
When President reaches Eidgah, he will be welcomed by the Chief Justice, Dhaka South City Corporation (DSCC) Mayor and other concerned officials.
Eminent persons including the Chief Justice, Cabinet members, Supreme Court Justices, Mayor of Dhaka South City Corporation, Members of Parliament, senior political leaders and high-ranking civil and military officials will offer Eid prayers at the National Eidgah Maidan.
After the prayer, the head of state will exchange greetings with the worshipers at Eidgah.
Meanwhile, if it is not possible to offer Eid prayers at National Eidgah due to adverse weather or any other reason, the President will offer Eid prayers at National Mosque Baitul Mukarram at 8 am.
In addition, President Mohammed Shahabuddin and his wife Dr. Rebeka Sultana will exchange Eid greetings with people at Bangabhaban from 10:30 AM to 12:00 PM.
The President will greet the countrymen through the media at the Credential Hall of Bangabhaban. Later he will spend time with family members at Bangabhaban.
