HSC and equivalent examinations have been suspended due to the changed situation caused by the quota reform movement and the fall of the Awami League government.

In this situation, speculations are going on in various circles about whether the remaining exams will be given full marks or auto passes will be given. Fake notification is also spread on social media. However, none of these notifications are correct, said the Inter-Education Board Coordinating Committee.

The committee said that the postponed exams will be held with full marks. Moreover, the revised timetable for these exams will be released soon.

This information has been confirmed by an emergency notification signed by Professor Tapan Kumar Sarkar, Chairman of the Inter-Education Board Coordination Committee and Chairman of Dhaka Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board, on Monday (August 12).

Earlier, a notification was circulated on social media regarding evaluation based on low marks in HSC and equivalent exam short syllabus 2024, which is not issued by the Bangladesh Inter-Education Board Coordinating Committee.
