Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal said, eradicating drugs is our prime challenge. We will curb drugs at any cost. The way we have succeeded for eradicating militancy we will be successful in eradicating drugs. Eradication of drugs is the prime challenge of the government.
He said these while delivering speech as the chief guest at the annual prize distribution ceremony of Tejgaon Government High School in the capital on Saturday.
Asaduzzaman Khan said, drugs eradication is our prime challenge. Young generation is our resource. To utilize this resource or merit we have to eradicate drugs. My request to the young generation is that keep distance from drugs.
Informing that the law and order situation is satisfactory at present the minister said, all thought that the situation would be bad after the election. But after holding the election with festive mood the law and order situation is best at the moment. But there will be some isolated incidents. Law enforcement agencies are curbing those with strong hand.
He said, it should be remembered that we are working for good governance. For this purpose we will do what are needed. Criminals need to be brought under coverage of law. His identity will not be taken for granted. Punishment will be given if somebody commits crime.
