Concerned passengers will have to show photo IDs while collecting boarding cards for air travelling to domestic destinations by Biman and other airlines.
Civil Aviation Authority of Bangladesh (CAAB) said about the directions through a notice on Tuesday.
The notice said, according to CAAB direction, air passengers of all the airlines including Biman have to show photo IDs before collecting the boarding card in the airports. Valid passport/National ID card or Smart card/Driving license/Student ID or concerned Office ID will be acceptable as photo IDs.
On that pretext Biman Bangladesh Airlines has requested all of its passengers to keep photo IDs while travelling in the schedule flights. Otherwise they will be barred from travelling in Biman flight.
