Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina said, you have to work as a representative of all by not considering who gave you vote or did not give. Because, you all are elected as representatives of all through votes.
She said these in a discussion with Dhaka University Central Students’ Union (DUCSU) leaders at Ganabhaban in the capital on Saturday evening. At that time the Prime Minister greeted the winners of recently held DUCSU election.
Sheikh Hasina said, during BNP regime they said that to prevent Awami League Chhatra Dal is enough. They gave arms to Chhatra Dal. I gave Chhatra League exercise books and pens. Pen is the main arms of students.
She said, DUCSU election was stopped for long 28 years. This election could not be arranged for BNP. Quota reforms movement got popularity. But in the name of that movement attack in the residence of Vice Chancellor is not acceptable.
DUCSU election was held on March 11. But all the student organizations except Chhatra League are rejecting the results from the day of voting. The students under banner of five panels are staging movement with their demand of reelection.
