Road Transport and Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader will be released from the Mount Elizabeth Hospital in Singapore on Friday and moved to a rented house there for further treatment.
“The health condition of Obaidul Quader is better now as he’s undergoing treatment at a cabin. He’ll be taken to a rented house on Friday from where he’ll take treatment,” said a high official at the ministry. Reports UNB.
Now he is talking to physicians and relatives normally, he said.
On March 26, Obaidul Quader was moved to a cabin from the intensive care unit of Singapore’s Mount Elizabeth Hospital after his condition improved.
The minister underwent a bypass surgery on March 20.
He was initially admitted to BSMMU on March 3 following breathing complications. Later, tests revealed three blockages in his coronary artery. He was flown to Singapore the next day for better treatment.
