In response to a question Sheikh Hasina said, there will be concern all the time about terrorism and militancy. Notorious attack was originated in peaceful country like New Zealand. Militancy is occurring in Bangladesh. Such terror attack has begun through killing father of the nation with his family members on August 15, 1975. Then BNP-Jamaat clique tried to kill me through grenade attack on Awami League meeting on August 21, 2004. To hamper the election they killed many people by arson attacks in 2013, 2014 and 2015. The Prime Minister said, we are alert about militancy. Militancy is under control following our steps taken after the Holey Artisan attack. I held meeting till midnight on Thursday with all agency chiefs after returning from Brunei. But militancy cannot be controlled with only help of security forces. For this reason at the beginning of my speech I have asked for creating public opinion against it.

She said, high class people were involved in Sri Lanka bomb attacks. I do not understand why there are in militancy. What they are getting from this? They are being killed and harming others. So I am saying- militants have no country or religion.
