The Ministry of Railways has requested passengers to observe health guidelines and wear masks during their return journey by train for the occasion of holy Eid al-Adha.
This directive was announced in a notification signed by Rezaul Karim Siddique, Public Relations Officer for the Ministry of Railways, on Sunday (June 8).
The notification states that in light of the recent upward trend in COVID-19 infection rates, the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare has requested everyone to wear masks in crowded areas.
Specifically, the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare has advised elderly and sick individuals to avoid such places.
In response to this, the Ministry of Railways is requesting all passengers to adhere to health guidelines and wear masks during their post-Eid train travel.
