Fire in Korail Slum, 7 Fire Service Units Deployed

A fire has broken out in the Korail slum in the capital's Banani area. The Fire Service has confirmed that seven units have been sent to the spot to bring the fire under control, according to Rakibul Hasan, the officer in charge at the Fire Service's control room.

He stated that they received news of the fire at around 4:15 pm on Wednesday (December 18) from the Bou Bazar area of the slum. Upon receiving the information, seven units were dispatched to the location. Efforts are underway to gather more details about the incident.

Additionally, Anwarul Islam Dolon, a media officer from the Fire Service headquarters mentioned that seven units from three stations have been sent to the scene. Five units have already begun working to control the fire, and two more units are on their way.
