The film, which had a solo release on December 21, 2023, has demonstrated resilience despite facing tough competition from Prabhas' 'Salaar,' released a day later.
As 'Dunki' enters its second week in theaters, it continues to captivate audiences and has experienced a significant surge in collections during the New Year weekend.
The film, which saw a slight dip in numbers during the weekdays, rebounded with double-digit figures on December 31, 2023.
According to early trade estimates, 'Dunki' raked in an impressive Rs 12 crore net at the domestic box office on that day alone.
The 11-day cumulative collection of 'Dunki' in India now stands at a commendable Rs 188.22 crore.
Despite facing challenges from other releases, the film maintained an occupancy rate of 38.49 per cent on December 31, showcasing its strong appeal among moviegoers.
Internationally, 'Dunki' has surpassed the Rs 360 crore milestone, according to the film's makers.
The global box office earnings are now poised to breach the Rs 400-crore mark, solidifying 'Dunki' as a blockbuster success on a global scale.
'Dunki' boasts an ensemble cast, featuring stellar performances from Boman Irani, Taapsee Pannu, Vicky Kaushal, Vikram Kochhar, Anil Grover, and, of course, Shah Rukh Khan.
