Mithun Chakraborty hospitalized due to chest discomfort
Veteran film actor Mithun Chakraborty was seriously ill and hospitalized in Kolkata due to chest discomfort. He is currently undergoing treatment in a private hospital.
While he was busy shooting for the movie 'Shastri' on Saturday morning (Feb 10), suddenly felt ill during the shooting. Immediately he was taken to hospital.
"Actor Mithun Chakraborty has been admitted to the hospital and he is undergoing treatment. We will provide further details later," according to the hospital spokesperson.
Mithun is suffering from a brain strok, some local media reported.
Mithun Chakraborty was recently honored with the prestigious Padma Bhushan in January from the Government of India. The talented actor started his acting career commenced with the film “Mrigayaa” (1976) which earned him his first National Film Award for the 'Best Actor'.
