Omar Sani opens up about arrest warrant against Moushumi
A Dhaka court issued an arrest warrant against actress Moushumi in the check dishonor case of IPDC Finance Limited. October 16 is scheduled for filing the report on the arrest.
It is known that on December 3 last year, IPDC officer MM Mushfiqur Rashid filed a case against actress Arifa Parvin Zaman Moushumi in a court of Dhaka for dishonoring a check of Tk 1,06,211 of IPDC Finance Limited.
Later the court took cognizance of the case and issued a summons to her to appear. A summons was sent to her Gulshan-1 residence to appear in court.
When the summons was returned from there, the summons was again sent to her Bashundhara residence on April 28. As she did not appear in court as the summons was issued on that day, an arrest warrant was issued against her on July 24.
Moushumi's husband, actor Omar Sani told the media about this, 'I know hundreds of debtors who owe much more than this amount. They did not repay the loan of two, four, or five crores. There, the loan of several lakhs of Tk has been taken to the case! It is nothing but insulting and defaming Moushumi.
Omar Sani also said since her name is Moushumi, they tried to make it viral. If Moushumi is dishonored for a small amount of money, then why are the names of other defaulters not being revealed for a large amount of money?
Therefore, he said that as the next step, he will try to solve the legal problem.
Moushumi is currently out of the country. She has been staying with her daughter in the United States for a long time. Meanwhile, an arrest warrant was issued against this actress.
