Shahbaz Sunny, a popular young actor from Bangladeshi television, has passed away.
Actor Ziaul Faruq Apurba confirmed the tragic news via a Facebook post on Monday (February 17). He wrote, "Actor Shahbaz Sunny is no longer with us. Inna Lillahi Wa Inna Ilaihi Rajiun. Please pray for Sunny."
Director Rafat Mozumder Rinku also posted on Facebook, saying, "My brother, actor Shahbaz Sunny, is no longer with us. Inna Lillahi Wa Inna Ilaihi Rajiun. He passed away at 3:30 am at Dhaka Specialized Hospital."
Director Hasib Hossain Rakhi shared a picture and wrote, "Ah, life. Sunny passed away from a heart attack at 3:30 pm."
Shahbaz Sunny made his debut in showbiz with the drama "Kache Ashar Pore," directed by Imraul Rafat. He quickly became a favourite among viewers for his acting skills and gained the trust of directors. Though he often played supporting roles, Sunny also appeared in lead roles.
In 2018, he took on a central role for the first time in the drama "Abdullah," directed by Golam Kibria Farooki. The drama was well-received, and Sunny garnered widespread appreciation from the audience for his performance.
