Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan, who dominated the box office last year with hits like Pathaan, Jawan, and Dunki, remains one of the most beloved actors globally. With a career full of blockbuster films, he continues to reign as the king of hearts.
For Shah Rukh's admirers, Mannat is no less than a temple, as it is the residence of Bollywood's Badshah. Fans gather outside the house during every festival just to catch a glimpse of their favourite star. However, the latest news is that King Khan is temporarily moving out with his family.
According to Indian media, Mannat is undergoing a major expansion, with additional floors being added. Shah Rukh has already secured legal permission for the renovations.
While minor work has begun, the heavy construction phase will make it difficult for the family to stay in the house. As a result, they have decided to relocate temporarily.
Shah Rukh, along with his wife Gauri and children—Aryan, Suhana, and AbRam—will be staying on the fourth floor of a luxurious apartment in Bandra’s Pali Hill area. The actor has rented the flat from producer Vashu Bhagnani.
Bhagnani's children, Jackky Bhagnani and Deepshikha Deshmukh are already in a business partnership with Shah Rukh's Red Chillies Entertainment.
The Khan family won’t be alone in their temporary home. Their security team and household staff will also accompany them, and Gauri and Shah Rukh will continue managing some of their professional work from there. The rent for the apartment is reportedly 2.4 million rupees per month.
Meanwhile, the script for Pathaan 2 is in progress, with filming set to begin in 2026.
