Hezbollah Rocket Attack in Haifa Injures 10
Lebanon's armed group Hezbollah has launched another rocket attack on Israel's third-largest city, Haifa, injuring at least 10 people. Reuters reported this on Monday, October 7.
According to the Israeli military, five rockets fired from Lebanon hit the tourist city of Haifa, damaging a restaurant, a house, and a major road. The structures were destroyed in the attack.
The military also stated that after detecting 15 rockets, air defense systems were activated in other areas, successfully intercepting some, while others hit the ground.
In a statement, Hezbollah claimed responsibility, saying they had targeted a military base south of Haifa with multiple "Fadi 1" rockets.
The report also mentioned that two rockets struck Haifa on Israel's Mediterranean coast, while five others hit Tiberias, 65 kilometers (40 miles) away.
Recently, Hezbollah has launched hundreds of rockets at Haifa and other areas in northern Israel.
Meanwhile, Israeli airstrikes continue targeting Hezbollah positions in Lebanon's capital, Beirut. The Israeli military stated that their warplanes struck multiple Hezbollah targets in Beirut, including weapons storage sites, infrastructure locations, a command center, and a rocket launcher.
