This year 95 thousand 341 application forms were submitted for the Dhaka University ‘Gha’ unit admission test under Social Science faculty. Of them 70 thousand 440 candidates took part in the test and 18 thousand 463 have passed. The pass rate is 26.21 percent. It is double than any other time.
The results of the 1st year admission test of ‘Gha’ unit under Social Science faculty of 2018-19 education year of Dhaka University were published on Tuesday afternoon. The information came through a DU Public Relation department notice.
Earlier on Monday Dhaka University authority suspended the results of ‘Gha’ unit admission test results following incidents of arrests for question leak, filing case and formation of investigation committee.
Allegation of question leak arose over the ‘Gha’ unit admission test held on Friday. Later the students and progressive student organizations demanded cancellation of the admission test. But the university authority published the results by not considering the demand of test cancellation.
