BNP standing committee member Gayeshwar Chandra Roy said that BNP is in dilemma over Jatiyatabadi Chhatra Dal (JCD) committee and movement to form committee following the tradition by not fixing the age limit.
He said these while discussing with the newsmen at his chamber at Nayapaltan party central office on Wednesday.
Gayeshwar Chandra Roy said, we are in dilemma over Chhatra Dal movement and committee. Students were in jail for long term, they were victims of cases and police harassment. What they will get in return of their contribution? What will be the evaluation? Who is to be blamed? Nobody is going to be blamed. Because, no political party can play their role if democratic atmosphere does not exist.
He said, JCD is a big organization. This organization has traditions of movement and struggle. But they have no tradition of continuous movement like the past. But aftermaths they try.
The BNP leader made a comment that JCD needs to organize its regular council and said, but there is no situation in the country to hold the council on a regular basis. The students would be rewarded according to their contribution if council is held regularly.
Gayeshwar Chandra Roy said, we will try to solve the problem after hearing their speeches. I believe, they will understand. So the matter will be solved after discussion with them.
