As the situation in the country has normalized, the government has decided to extend the office hours.
The office will be open from 9 am to 3 pm from Sunday to Tuesday, said the Public Administration Minister Farhad Hossain on Saturday (July 27) afternoon. The bank and the court will decide it by themselves.
Bangladesh Bank informed the bank will be open from 10 am to 3:30 pm on those three days. The transaction will continue till 3 pm.
Meanwhile, the country came to a standstill due to violence surrounding the quota reform movement. Later, the government announced curfew as a general holiday.
Later, the situation began to normalize after the army employed everywhere, curfew was relaxed and offices were opened on a limited basis from 11 am to 3 pm from Wednesday.
