Dr. Yunus arrived in Bangladesh
Nobel laureate Dr. Muhammad Yunus returned to the country in order to take oath of the interim government.
He arrived in Dhaka at 2:10 pm on Thursday (August 8). An Emirates Airlines flight carried him Bangladseh.
Earlier, on Wednesday (August 7), he left for Dhaka from the Charles de Gaulle Airport in Paris, the capital of France. At that time, he was under strict security by members of the French special forces.
According to a press release from Yunus Center, Dr. Muhammad Yunus will return to Bangladesh on Thursday afternoon. He is scheduled to arrive at Dhaka's Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport on an Emirates Airlines flight.
Dr. Yunus went to Paris as a special guest at the invitation of the Olympic Committee. There he received treatment, including a minor surgery.
Earlier, on Tuesday (August 6) it has been decided to form an interim government headed by Muhammad Yunus.
