Primary List of Martyrs and Injured in Mass Uprising Published
The Special Cell on Mass Uprising has published the preliminary draft list of those killed and injured in the mass uprising led by students. The list includes information on 858 deaths and 11,551 injuries.
The announcement was made through a notice signed by the team leader, Additional Secretary Khandakar Jahirul Islam on Saturday, December 21.
The notice stated that the list is part of efforts to finalize the names of individuals killed or injured in the student-led uprising during July-August, which involved attacks from opposing forces.
The health services department, the Directorate General of Health Services, district committees formed in all 64 districts, and the special cell on the mass uprising have been working tirelessly to finalize the list. As part of this effort, the preliminary draft list has been published on the special cell's website (musc.portal.gov.bd).
It was further mentioned that the draft list will be open to the public until December 23. The published preliminary lists include the names, addresses, and other relevant details of the martyrs and the injured. Families, heirs, or representatives of the martyrs and injured are requested to verify, correct, or finalize the information.
Furthermore, anyone with opinions, suggestions, or valid additional or corrective information about the published list is requested to notify the special cell by email (muspecialcell36@gmail.com) by December 23.
