In a recent development, thirty-three Deputy General Managers from state-owned banks and financial institutions have been elevated to the position of General Manager.
This promotion was confirmed through a notification signed by Afroza Akter Riba, Deputy Secretary of the Financial Institutions Division under the Ministry of Finance, on Thursday (January 9).
According to the notification, the promoted Deputy General Managers from state-owned commercial banks, specialized banks, and financial institutions have been appointed as General Managers to the workplaces specified alongside their names.
The order, issued in the public interest, has been made effective immediately.
