Recruitment of 3,500 Candidates by Technical Education Board Suspended
The High Court has suspended the recruitment of 3,500 junior instructors (technical) and physical education instructors (grade 10) under the Technical Education Board for various polytechnic institutes and technical schools across the country.
The order was issued on Monday (January 27) by a High Court bench led by Justice Akram Hossain Chowdhury.
Barrister Kaiser Kamal, representing the petitioners, was assisted by Advocate Maksud Ullah during the hearing.
According to Barrister Kamal, the selected candidates were scheduled to assume their positions on January 29. However, the suspension order has prevented them from joining.
The suspension followed a petition filed by 18 candidates who were allegedly deprived of the recruitment. The petition cited irregularities in the recruitment process, including accusations of fraud and question leaks, reportedly orchestrated by a group led by an individual named Abed Ali.
