New controversy about 'Toofan', screening of it may be stopped
The barrage of allegations against the film starring Shakib Khan and directed by Raihan Rafi is getting heavier. In the name of shooting, money laundering in abroad, fake scenes, fake songs, complaint of extra rental demand, now 'Toofan' is in court with new charges.
In a scene from the movie, Shakib is seen as a teenager cutting a man's throat and taking it with him. Surprisingly, this scene in the movie is not blurred. That's how it being displayed across the country.
Now the question arises, how did 'Toofan' get censor clearance despite such a gruesome scene?
Allegation of fraud against 'Toofan', the owner is taking legal action.
According to sources, the censor board was verbally asked to blur the scene. But 'Toofan' didn't concern about the rules. This horrible scene is displayed freely.
However, it is known that the information has already been sent to the Censor Board. They are also looking into the matter. In such a situation, the director of the movie will be summoned for the beheading scene. The movie may even be closed until the scene is rectified.
Incidentally, the movie was released on the day of Eid i.e. 17th June in most of the theatres. Apart from Shakib Khan, Chanchal Chowdhury, Masuma Rahman Nabila, Kolkata's Mimi Chakraborty and many others acted in this movie.
