Dhaka Metropolitan Police arrested Kaushik Hossain Taposh, a singer, lyricist, music director, and chairman of the private television channel 'Gaan Bangla' today.

He was arrested from the capital's Uttara on Monday (November 4).
Kaushik Hossain Taposh has been arrested in several cases in connection with the July-August genocide, according to DMP sources.

Raonak Jahan, DMP's Uttara Division Deputy Commissioner (DC) confirmed this on Monday.
He also said that Taposh would be taken to court today.
