J K Majlish’s cheating unearthed in international platforms

International music distribution agency Fuga has unearthed the incidents of cheating perpetrated by J K Majlish and his associates known as music composer and director. Fuga has declared that the songs broadcasted in the program ‘Folk Station’ are copy righted by Rtv or host of the program Bengal Media Corporation. The declaration by Fuga came in after submitting documents of copy rights along with the money receipts received by J K Majlish.

‘Folk Station’ is a program organized by Bengal Media Corporation (Rtv) to reach the heritage of country music before the mass people. J K Majlish, known as a music composer and director was given the responsibility of rearrange the songs for the program ‘Folk Station’ along with other composers. After three years J K Majlish published nearly 250 songs on different online platforms claiming those as his own.

The platforms that J K Majlish and his associates used to publish are- Spottify, Apple Music, Prime Music, Geo Seven, Dazer, You Tube Music and Star I Tune and some other online platforms.

MCN Fuga for the first time reveals the issue of copyright. The firm claimed copyright for more than two hundred songs of Rtv’s You Tube Channel. There it was claimed that the songs broadcasted in Folk Station program are copyrighted by J K Majlish. But Fuga has stepped aside from the claim. On behalf of Rtv copyrights documents and the money receipts received by J K Majlish were submitted before the firm. After verifying the documents Fuga delivered its judgment for Rtv. Besides, the processes of withdrawing false claim of J K Majlish from other online platforms are underway.

Meanwhile, Rtv authority filed a case against J K Majlish and his two associates- Jewel D Costa and owner of Gaanbox over allegation of cheating under Digital Security Act (Case number 28, 15/09/2022) with Motijheel Police Station.

Different sources associated with music have informed that it is not the first incident of cheating perpetrated by J K Majlish. This racket of cheaters earlier claimed different pages and channels as their own and earned illegal money.
