Bangladesh cricket team captain Mahmudullah has said, Nidahas Trophy is a good platform to prove our ability in T-twenty cricket.
He said this while speaking to the newsmen at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport on Sunday before leaving country for Sri Lanka to participate in the tri-nation T-twenty series.
Mahmudullah said, we have a lot to do or to show. We have a lot to prove. There is a question in the minds of somebody about our ability and strength in T-twenty cricket.
He said, our first target is to win the tournament. We can achieve something very good if we are able to get the best individual performances from all. The main and last thing is to play well.
Mahmudullah said, against any opponent you are going to play, you have to play well. No benefit to think about the opponent. Each of the opponents is very important.
He said, we were playing very well in the home ground. So our expectations have increased. Perhaps, we have not performed as expected in the last series.
As the sub continental condition and we have visited Sri Lanka several times, so we think that we could do something good there, he added.
