The Lebanon-based militant group Hezbollah launched a total of 175 rockets targeting various military and civilian sites in northern Israel between Sunday midnight and Monday midnight, within a span of 24 hours.

According to a report by Israel's Channel 12, the rockets were aimed at the cities of Nahariya, Haifa, Acre, and Kiryat in northern Israel.

However, most of the rockets were intercepted and destroyed by the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) before hitting their targets. A few rockets could not be intercepted, but no casualties or injuries were reported in Israel.

Yesterday, October 7, marked the one-year anniversary of Israel’s ongoing military operation in Gaza. Hamas announced that on Monday, they launched several rockets targeting Tel Aviv.

Since September 23, the Israeli Defense Forces have been conducting operations in southern Lebanon with the aim of destroying Iran-backed Hezbollah. Hezbollah's most significant bases and military installations are located in southern Lebanon.

In the nearly two-week-long Israeli operation in Lebanon, 1,251 people have been killed, 3,618 injured, and over 1.2 million displaced. Among the dead are Hezbollah's leader Hassan Nasrallah and several top commanders.
