Five Returning Officers were appointed to conduct Dhaka University Central Students Union (DUCSU) and hall council election. Dhaka University Vice Chancellor Dr. Md. Akhtaruzzaman gave the appointments on Saturday.
The five appointed Returning Officers are- Chairman of Soil, Water and Environment Department Professor Dr. Md. Didar-Ul-Alam, Chairman of Mathematics Department Professor Dr. Amal Krishna Halder, Director of Institute of Disaster Management and Vulnerable Studies Professor Dr. Mahbuba Nasrin, Professor of Islamic Studies and Culture Department Dr. Abdul Basir and Chairman of Computer Science and Engineering Department Professor Dr. Md. Mostafizur Rahman.
The five Returning Officers were appointed for providing overall cooperation to the Chief Returning Officer.
Earlier VC Dr. Md. Akhtaruzzaman appointed Professor Dr. SM Mahfuzur Rahman as the Chief Returning Officer.
