Awami League General Secretary and Road Transport and Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader said, we have seen the hawking rally, observed their capability on Sunday. We have seen the infighting, clash in the rally. In the real meaning infighting in the rally and selfie on stage, this is BNP.
He said these at a press conference after holding party secretarial meeting at Awami League president’s political office at Dhanmondi in the capital on Sunday.
Obaidul Quader said, BNP lost people’s support for their negative politics. The proof was found on Sunday’s rally.
He claimed that the participation of people that was seen in the last several days in Awami League’s street gatherings was not nearly seen in the BNP’s rally.
Quader also said, we will face politically if BNP does movement in peaceful and democratic way. But if they want to do violence like 2014 then we will do administratively whatever it requires. Our leaders and activists will not sit idle, they will give proper answer.
Awami League Joint Secretaries Dr. Dipu Moni, Jahangir Kabir Nanok, Abdur Rahman, Organizing Secretaries Ahmed Hossain, Bahauddin Nasim, Science and Technology Secretary Engineer Abdus Sabur, Publicity Secretary Dr. Hasan Mahmud, Freedom fighters affairs Secretary Mrinal Kanti Das, Agriculture and Cooperatives Secretary Faridun Nahar Laily, Forest and Environment Secretary Delwar Hossain and former Chhatra League president Saifur Rahman Sohag were present in the meeting.
It was informed in the meeting that the ruling Awami League will hold mass contact throughout the country including Dhaka for seven successive days beginning from Monday. In Dhaka the mass contact will be held in four thanas after dividing into four teams.
