Gas supply will remain suspended for 12 hours on Tuesday and Wednesday in some parts of the capital due to pipeline shifting work under Dhaka Mass Rapid Transit Development Project or Metrorail construction activities.
For this reason pipeline gas supply will not be available from 6 pm of Tuesday (February 19) to 6 am of Wednesday (February 20) in some areas under Dhaka North and South City Corporations.
The information came through a press release of Titas Gas on Monday.
The areas where gas supply will remain suspended are- Mirpur, Shyamoli, Monipuri Para, Agargaon, Mohammadpur, Dhanmondi, Ganabhaban, Kalabagan, Hazaribag, Dhaka University, BUET, Shahbag, Green Road, whole area of old Dhaka, Bangabhaban, Gopibag, Swamibag, Rampura, South Banashree, Nandipara, Mogbazar, Siddheswari, Segun Bagicha, Mintu Road, Tejgaon, Khilgaon, Basabo, Motijheel, Kamalapur. Gas supply for the residential, commercial and industrial areas and for the CNG consumers will remain suspended.
Titas Gas authority has regretted for this temporary problem for the subscribers.
