The sacred night of Shab-e-Barat, known as the Night of Fortune, will be observed across the country today with deep religious devotion and enthusiasm.
To mark the occasion, the Islamic Foundation (IF) has organized special programs at Baitul Mukarram National Mosque, according to a press release from IF.
The evening's events at the mosque will include religious sermons (waz), special prayers (doa-mahfils), Quran recitation, and Hamd-Naat. At approximately 6:35 pm, Religious Affairs Adviser Dr AFM Khalid Hossain will deliver a sermon highlighting the significance of Shab-e-Barat.
Following Maghrib prayers, mosques throughout the country will host sermons, and special munajat (supplications) will take place after Esha prayers.
Chief Adviser Professor Muhammad Yunus extended his heartfelt greetings to all Muslims in the country and around the world on the occasion of this holy night.
Many devotees will visit graveyards to offer prayers for the souls of their departed loved ones, while others will engage in charitable activities such as distributing food, sweets, and financial aid to the less fortunate.
