A seasonal low-pressure system is currently positioned over the southern Bay of Bengal. Due to this condition, the Meteorological Department has predicted thunderstorms and rain in Chattogram and Sylhet divisions. Meanwhile, other regions of the country are expected to experience partly cloudy skies with mostly dry weather.
The forecast indicates that the low-pressure system over the southern Bay of Bengal will continue to influence weather conditions from Sunday (March 2) at 9 am. Temporary gusty winds accompanied by rain or thunderstorms are possible in some areas of Chattogram and Sylhet divisions until 6 pm today. This pattern is expected to persist for the next 24 hours. Elsewhere, the weather will remain mostly dry with partly cloudy skies.
Daytime temperatures will remain steady throughout the country, while nighttime temperatures may drop slightly.
Monday (March 3): Dry weather with partly cloudy skies is expected nationwide. Day temperatures are likely to stay the same, while night temperatures may slightly decrease.
Tuesday (March 4): The weather is forecasted to remain dry and partly cloudy. Day temperatures may drop slightly, but night temperatures are expected to remain unchanged.
Extended 5-Day Forecast: Both day and night temperatures may gradually decrease further across the country.
