Veg Prices Down, Egg and Chicken Prices Up

The prices of several vegetables have decreased in the capital's vegetable market. Green chilis, brinjals, tomatoes, and papayas are on the list. On the other hand, eggs and chicken are being sold at higher prices than before in the market.
Int’l standard vaccine institute to be set up in country, PM tells JS

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina today (Wednesday) told the Jatiya Sangsad (JS) that the government aims to set up an international standard vaccine institute to tackle different viruses, including Covid-19, alongside formulating a vaccine guideline. “The present government has a plan to set up an international standard vaccine institute to produce vaccines and formulate a vaccine guideline aiming to tackle different viruses such as coronavirus,” she said.

Civil Aviation Authority, Bangladesh (CAAB) today signed an agreement with France's Thales LAS to set up multi-mode radar with Communication, Navigation and Surveillance Air Traffic Management (CNS-ATM) system at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport (HSIA) in Dhaka. CAAB chairman Air Vice Marshal M Mofidur Rahman and Thales LAS vice chairman Nicholas inked the deal for their respective sides at a city hotel.

Form fill up process for SSC examination suspended

The form fill up process for the SSC examinees has been suspended due to coronavirus situation in the country. It was known from the inter education coordination board that the tenure of form fill up might be extended without charging late fee. The form fill up process began on April 1 and was scheduled to complete by April 7. As the government announced countrywide lockdown so the form fill up process has been suspended.
